01 — Thesis
Capital with a long memory.
Northmark provides long-horizon capital to companies building the next era of technology, artificial intelligence, and software. We look for work that compounds — products and platforms that become more essential with time.
We are a private investment firm. We do not publish a track record, a portfolio page, or a set of slogans designed to look like one. The work is the relationship: a small number of partnerships, held with patience, and judged over years.
The thesis is simple. Software continues to reorganize the real economy. Artificial intelligence is a new substrate for that reorganization. The firms that endure will be those that treat technology as craft, not fashion — and that have partners who can wait.
02 — Focus
Where we spend our attention.
Three domains. Not a mandate to cover the map — a discipline for where we believe durable companies will be built.
01
Artificial intelligence
Models, applications, and the systems that make intelligence useful in production — not as spectacle, but as infrastructure.
02
Software platforms
Products that become the way a market works. Tools that operators return to, and that deepen as the customer grows.
03
Technical infrastructure
The layers beneath the application: compute, data, developer tools, and the physical systems software depends on.
03 — Approach
How we partner.
01
Long-horizon capital
We invest with time as an advantage. Durable companies are not built on a fund calendar, and we do not pretend otherwise.
02
Concentrated bets
A small number of positions, held with conviction. Depth over breadth. We would rather know a few companies well than collect many.
03
Operators as partners
Capital is the beginning of the relationship, not the extent of it. We work alongside the people building the company.
